RFID Technology in Tires

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a key Michelin innovation to enhance the tire value chain. RFID is a Unique, Unforgeable and Readable in all conditions until the end of life of the tire.

Tires with RFID are scanned through manufacturing, inventory, delivery, maintenance and recycling services. Michelin is capable of tracking the full tire lifecycle.
