What is tyre size recognition?

Identifying a tyre’s specifications is a complex step in the customer journey. Manual entry of dimensions and markings often causes errors and slows the process down.

How does it work?

This API uses AI-powered OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to detect the full tyre size, load index and speed rating from a smartphone photo. It currently covers light vehicles only.

It can be integrated into various applications that need tyre size or other key parameters.

Our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) uses computer vision to extract and classify tyre information — dimensions, markings and specifications. A recommendation engine then suggests the right tyre to the customer.
